No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Labor Code to regarding the return-to-work reimbursement program. The bill would require the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) to adopt rules to implement the program. The bill would allow TDI to advance funds to employers for purchases related to the return-to-work program. Based on the analysis provided by TDI, any costs associated with implementing the bill could be absorbed within existing agency resources.
