No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Insurance Code relating to coverage of drivers under a personal automobile insurance policy and allowing a motor vehicle insurance policy holder to exclude certain persons from policy coverage. Based on analysis by the Texas Department of Insurance, any costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill can be absorbed within existing resources.
