IN RE:
SB1890 by Gallegos (Relating to the temporary suspension of certain signage restrictions during a state of disaster.), As Engrossed
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Government Code to require a municipality located in a county within a disaster area or an adjacent county to suspend regulation of outdoor signs for not more than 30 days or until the declaration of disaster is ended to allow insurance carriers to erect temporary claims service signage.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated from ensuring temporary signage is removed after the temporary period expires.
