No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Tax Code to require a chief appraiser, if requested by federal, state, or local government emergency management authorities, to provide information and assistance pertinent to disaster mitigation or recovery, including assisting in the estimation of damage from an actual or potential disaster event.

The fiscal impact would depend on the nature and extent of a request.
