No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would create the Vision 2040 Study Commission to study the practices and procedures of the Texas Legislature and recommend constitutional and statuatory changes that ensure its ability to efficiently represent a rapidly growing population.

The Commission may accept gifts and grants to be used to carry out its functions.

This Act expires and the Commission is abolished on January 1, 2011.
