No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Government Code relating to the eligibility of certain criminal defendants for an order of nondisclosure. The bill would alter eligibility requirements for an order of nondisclosure. To the extent the bill would alter court procedure, the rules change is not anticipated to alter the workload of the court system. The bill would take effect September 1, 2009.
