No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would exclude from the definitions of “gas utility,” “public utility,” “common carrier,” or “common purchaser” an electric cooperative that owns or operates underground natural gas storage services for the public for hire. Passage of the bill is not expected to have a significant impact on the workload of the Railroad Commission.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
