No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Water Code regarding timing for a groundwater management district to submit groundwater management plans or readopted management plans to the Texas Water Development Board and would set an expiration date for the proposed change in submission schedule. The expiration date shown in the bill is September 1, 2013.
