No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Government Code, Chapter 411 to rename the Texas Department of Public Safety Laboratory in Garland as the Representative Fred Hill Center for Forensic Analysis. The bill would take effect on September 1, 2009.

The Department of Public Safety anticipates no significant fiscal impact to the agency.
