SB2444 by Uresti (Relating to calculation of the net resources of a person ordered to pay child support.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Family Code regarding calculation of the net resources of a person ordered to pay child support and requires a deduction from resources for nondiscretionary retirement plan contributions. The office of the Attorney General indicates that any additional costs associated with implementation of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
