Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 5, 2009, the House Committee on Appropriations met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Pitts, at 12:39 p.m.

The chair moved to reconsider the vote by which the measure was reported from committee. The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.

Representative Raymond moved that the substitute to HJR 37 be adopted.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Raymond moved that HJR 37, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
