Pursuant to a notice posted on February 20, 2009, the House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Education, Subcommittee on Education, met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hochberg, at 8:11 a.m.

 

Present:           Representatives Hochberg; Aycock; Morrison; Villarreal (4).

 

Absent:            Representative King, Susan (1).

 

A quorum was present.

At 9:56 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until 1:30 p.m., February 25, 2009.

 

The committee reconvened at 1:40 p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hochberg. The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Hochberg; Morrison; Aycock; Villarreal (4).

 

Absent:              Representative King, Susan (1).
