Pursuant to a notice posted on March 18, 2009, the House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Education, Subcommittee on Education, met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hochberg, at 10:26 a.m.

 

Present:           Representatives Hochberg; Aycock; King, Susan; Morrison (4).

 

Absent:            Representative Villarreal (1).

 

A quorum was present.

 

(Representative Villarreal now present.)

 

At 12:26 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until 1:30 p.m., March 20, 2009.

 

The committee reconvened at 1:46 p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hochberg. The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Hochberg; Aycock; Morrison; Villarreal (4).

 

Absent:              Representative King, Susan (1).

 

A quorum was present.

 

(Representative King, Susan now present.)

 

At 7:20 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
