Pursuant to a notice posted on March 20, 2009, the House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Business & Economic Development, Subcommittee on Business and Economic Development, met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Giddings, at 8:05 a.m.

 

Present:           Representatives Giddings; Button; Darby; Miller, Doug (4).

 

Absent:            Representative Chavez (1).

 

A quorum was present.

At 9:47 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until one hour after adjournment/recess.

 

The committee reconvened at 1:44 p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Giddings. The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Giddings; Button; Chavez (3).

 

Absent:              Representatives Darby; Miller, Doug (2).

 

A quorum was present.
