Pursuant to a notice posted on February 19, 2009, the House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Criminal Justice, Subcommittee on Criminal Justice, met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Riddle, at 8:05 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:           Representatives Riddle; Crownover; Edwards (3).

 

Absent:            Representatives Driver; McClendon (2).

 

A quorum was present.

At 9:49 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until one hour after adjournment/recess.

 

The committee reconvened at 12:56 p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Riddle. The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Riddle; Crownover; Driver; McClendon (4).

 

Absent:              Representative Edwards (1).

 

A quorum was present.
