Pursuant to a notice posted on April 9, 2010, the House Committee on Border & Intergovernmental Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Gonzales, at 10:04 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Gonzales; Flores; Guillen; Moody; Raymond (5).

 

Absent:              Representatives Flynn; Leibowitz; Olivo; Shelton (4).

 

A quorum was present.

 

Opening statements were made regarding the committee's interim charge and other matters.

At 7:18 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
