Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 23, 2009, and permission received to meet while the House is in session on May 23, 2009, the House Committee on Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative McCall, at 7:00 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

Absent:              Representatives Chavez; Kolkhorst; Kuempel; Solomons (4).

 

A quorum was present.

 

Representative McCall moved to place the following measures:

on the Major State Calendar for Monday, May 25, 2009:  SB8, SB545, SB841, SB2046, SB2146.

 

The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives McCall; Lucio III; Coleman; Cook; Creighton; Geren; Keffer; McReynolds; Ritter (9).

 

Nays:                             None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

 

Absent:                          Representatives Chavez; Kolkhorst; Kuempel; Solomons  (4).

 

At 7:01 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
