Pursuant to a Notice Posted on July 26, 2010, the Committee on Redistricting's Subcommittee on Lubbock Redistricting, met jointly in a Public Hearing with the Committee on Judiciary and Civil Jurisprudence's Subcommittee on Lubbock Redistricting.

 

The Committee on Judiciary and Civil Jurisprudence's Subcommittee was called to order by its Chairman, Representative Lewis, at 12:11 p.m.

 

 

ROLL CALL

 

The Roll was called and was answered as follows:

 

Present:           Representative Lewis (Chairman);

                        Representative Alonzo; and

                        Representative Jackson

                        TOTAL―3

 

Absent:            (None)

 

A Quorum of that particular Subcommittee was PRESENT.

The Committee on Redistricting's Subcommittee was called to order by its Chairman, Representative Jones, likewise at 12:11 p.m.

The presence of the following House Members―who did not address the joint Subcommittee―was acknowledged:  Representative Alvarado, Representative Craddick, Representative Darby, Representative Hardcastle, Representative Hughes; Representative Peņa, Representative Phillips, and Representative Smithee.  The presence of Texas State Senator Kel Seliger was acknowledged.

Representative Jones, Chairman of the full Committee on Redistricting (as well as a member of the joint Subcommittee) addressed the joint Subcommittee.

 

Texas U.S. Congressman Randy Neugebauer addressed the joint Subcommittee.

 

Representative Heflin addressed the joint Subcommittee.

 

Representative Chisum addressed the joint Subcommittee.
