On April 7, 2009, the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence, Subcommittee on Violent Crime authorized the correction of the minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence, Subcommittee on Violent Crime held on March 24, 2009. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:
Pursuant to a notice posted on March 19, 2009 and a suspension of the 5-day posting rule to hear HB 1681, the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence, Subcommittee on Violent Crime, met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Vaught, at 8:10 a.m.
Present: Representatives Vaught; Hodge; Miklos (3).
Absent: Representatives Riddle; Vo (2).
A quorum was present.

The chair recognized Representative Lewis to explain the measure.
