Pursuant to a notice posted on February 25, 2009 and with permission to meet during the reading and referral of bills on March 2, 2009, the House Committee on Elections met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Smith, Todd, at 3:26 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Smith, Todd; Pena; Allen; Bohac; Brown, Betty; Harper-Brown; Heflin (7).

 

Absent:              Representatives Anchia; Bonnen (2).

 

A quorum was present.

At 5:33 p.m., on the motion of Representative Pena and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
