Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on March 25, 2009, and with permission to meet during the reading and referral of bills on March 25, 2009, the House Committee on Elections met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Smith, Todd, at 2:30 p.m.

The chair explained the measure.
