Pursuant to a notice posted on May 13, 2010, the House Committee on Higher Education met in a joint public hearing with the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Education and was called to order by the chair, Representative Branch, at 10:20 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Branch; Castro; Cohen; Howard, Donna; Rose (5).

 

Absent:              Representatives Alonzo; Berman; Patrick (3).

 

A quorum was present.
