Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 28, 2009, the House Committee on Judiciary & Civil Jurisprudence met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hunter, at 1:25 p.m.

The bill was left pending without objection.

The chair laid out SCR 72.

 

Representative Hughes moved that SCR 72, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives Hunter; Hughes; Alonzo; Branch; Jackson, Jim; Madden (6).

 

Nays:                             None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).
