Pursuant to a notice posted on June 4, 2010, and revised on June 29, 2010, the House Committee on Judiciary & Civil Jurisprudence, Subcommittee on McAllen Redistricting, met jointly with the House Committee on Redistricting, Subcommittee on McAllen Redistricting, in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative "Mando" Martinez, at 12:05 p.m.

 

Present:           Representatives Martinez, "Mando"; Jackson, Jim; Lewis (3).

 

Absent:            None (0).

 

A quorum was present.

The House Committee on Redistricting, Subcommittee on McAllen Redistricting, was called to order by the chair, Representative Pena, at 12:06pm.

 

Present:           Representatives Pena; Hilderbran; Herrero (3).

 

Absent:            None (0).

 

A quorum was present.

 

Chairman Hunter addressed the audience. The following Representatives were present: Representatives Hughes; Alonzo; Phillips; Leibowitz; Gonzales, Veronica; Burnam; Lucio; and Guillen.

 

Chairman Pena addressed the audience.
