Pursuant to a notice posted on June 30, 2010, and revised on July 23, 2010, the House Committee on Judiciary & Civil Jurisprudence, Subcommittee on Lubbock Redistricting, met jointly with the House Committee on Redistricting, Subcommittee on Lubbock Redistricting, in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Tryon Lewis, at 12:11 p.m.

 

Present:           Representatives Alonzo; Jackon, Jim; Lewis (3).

 

Absent:            None (0).

 

A quorum was present.

The House Committee on Redistricting, Subcommittee on Lubbock Redistricting, was called to order by the chair, Representative Jones, at 12:11 p.m.

 

Present:           Representatives Jones; Hilderbran; Keffer (3).

 

Absent:            None (0).

 

A quorum was present.

 

Chairman Jones addressed the audience. The following members were present: Representatives Hardcastle; Craddick; Pena; Alvarado; Heflin; Phillips; Chisum; Hughes; Darby; Smithee and Senator Seliger.

 

Congressman Neugebauer addressed the audience.

 

Representative Heflin addressed the audience.

 

Representative Chisum addressed the audience.
