Pursuant to a notice posted on July 30, 2010, the House Committee on Judiciary & Civil Jurisprudence, Subcommittee on Tarrant County Redistricting, met jointly with the House Committee on Redistricting, Subcommittee on Tarrant County Redistricting, in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Jim Jackson, at 10:01 a..m.

 

Present:           Representatives Alonzo; Jackson, Jim; Madden (3).

 

Absent:            None (0).

 

A quorum was present.

The House Committee on Redistricting, Subcommittee on Tarrant County Redistricting, was called to order by the chair, Representative Todd Smith, at 10:01 a.m.

 

Present:           Representatives Herrero; Smith; Veasey (3).

 

Absent:            None (0).

 

A quorum was present.

 

Chairman Jones addressed the audience. Chairman Hunter addressed the audience.  The following members were present: Representatives Pierson; King, Phil; Turner, Chris; Pena; Herrero; Burnam; Phillips; Patrick, Diane; King, Susan; Hughes.

 

Representative Todd Smith addressed the audience.
