Pursuant to a notice posted on February 27, 2009, the House Committee on Pensions, Investments & Financial Services met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Truitt, at 8:01 a.m.

At 9:55 a.m., on the motion of Representative Hopson and without objection, the meeting was recessed until upon adjournment or subject to approval during the reading and referral of bills.
The committee reconvened at 12:47 p.m. upon approval from the House to meet during the reading and referral of bills and was called to order by the chair, Representative Truitt. The roll was answered as follows:

Absent: Representatives Anchia; Hopson; Veasey (3).
A quorum was present.
