CORRECTED MINUTES
On April 21, 2009, the House Committee on Public Education authorized the correction of the minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on Public Education held on April 2, 2009. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:
Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 2, 2009, the House Committee on Public Education met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Eissler, at 1:42 p.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Eissler; Hochberg; Allen; Aycock; Farias; Olivo; Patrick; Shelton (8).
Absent: Representatives Dutton; Jackson, Jim; Weber (3).
A quorum was present.

Representative Weber offered a complete committee substitute.
The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
Representative Weber moved that HB 339, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
