Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 2, 2009, the House Committee on Public Safety met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Merritt, at 1:21 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Merritt; Frost; Burnam; Driver; King, Phil; Lewis; Mallory Caraway; Vo (8).

 

Absent:              Representative Rodriguez (1).

 

A quorum was present.

 

The chair directed that the March 18, 2009, minutes for the House Committee on Public Safety be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

 

At 1:22 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
