Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 7, 2009, the House Committee on Public Safety met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Merritt, at 12:57 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Merritt; Frost; Burnam; Driver; Mallory Caraway; Vo (6).

 

Absent:              Representatives King, Phil; Lewis; Rodriguez (3).

 

A quorum was present.

 

The chair directed that the March 2, 2009, minutes for the House Committee on Public Safety be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

 

The chair directed that the March 9, 2009, minutes for the House Committee on Public Safety be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

 

The chair directed that the March 16, 2009, minutes for the House Committee on Public Safety be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

 

At 12:59 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
