Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 2, 2009 and given permission to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on State Affairs met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Solomons, at 12:32 p.m.


The roll was answered as follows:

The chair laid out SB 769, the companion to HB 1378.


Representative Swinford moved that SB 769, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Nays:                             None (0).

At 12:36 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
