Pursuant to a notice posted on August 12, 2010, the House Committee on State Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Solomons, at 10:13 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Solomons; Menendez; Cook; Gallego; Geren; Harless; Maldonado; Turner, Sylvester (8).

 

Absent:              Representatives Craddick; Farabee; Hilderbran; Jones; Lucio III; Oliveira; Swinford (7).

 

A quorum was present.
