Pursuant to an announcement made from the House floor on May 18, 2009, and a suspension of the 5-day posting rule, and all necessary rules on May 18, 2009, the House Committee on Transportation met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Pickett, at 8:13 a.m.
