Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 11, 2009,  and Permission granted to meet while the house was in session, and revised on May 11, 2009, the House Committee on Urban Affairs met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the , Representative Davis, Yvonne, at 4:34 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

Absent:              Representatives Kent; Mallory Caraway; Turner, Chris (3).

 

A quorum was present.

 

HB 3682

 

The chair laid out HB 3682 as pending business.

Representative Pierson offered a complete committee substitute.

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Howard, Charlie moved that HB 3682, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
