Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 12, 2009, and permission to meet while the house is in session on May 12, 2009, the House Committee on Urban Affairs met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Davis, Yvonne, at 4:42 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Davis, Yvonne; Howard, Charlie; Alvarado; Gutierrez; Kent; Mallory Caraway; Miklos; Pierson; Turner, Chris; Walle (10).

 

Absent:              Representative Fletcher (1).

 

A quorum was present.

 

Representative Davis, Yvonne moved that the May 7, 2009 minutes for the House Committee on Urban Affairs be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

 

Representative Howard, Charlie moved that SB 1011, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed without objection.

 

At 4:45 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
