Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Business and Commerce was held on Tuesday, August 24, 2010, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.016, at Austin, Texas.

The Chair called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m.  There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted: 

 

The Committee received invited and public testimony on interim charges 1 and 2.

There being no further business, at 1:33 p.m. Senator Carona moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the Chair.  Without objection, it was so ordered.
