Pursuant to suspension of Senate Rule 11.18 and 11.10 a public hearing of the Senate Committee on S/C on Flooding & Evacuations was held on Tuesday, February 10, 2009, in the Senate Chamber at Senator Gallegos desk.

The chair called the meeting to order at 12:28 p.m.  There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted: 

 

Senator Nichols moved adoption of the committee rules. There being no objection, it was so ordered.

 

At 12:30 p.m. Senator Gallegos, Jr. moved that the committee stand recessed until further notice; without objection, it was so ordered.
