The chair called the meeting to order at 8:31 a.m. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:
Senator Hinojosa assumed the chair.
The chair laid out SB 1 as pending business.
Public testimony was taken on all Article II agencies. Witnesses testifying and registering on the bill are shown on the attached list.
Senator Ogden resumed the chair.
Testimony continued.

At 12:08 p.m. Senator Hinojosa moved that the Committee stand recessed for 30 minutes; without objection, it was so ordered.
Senator Hinojosa reconvened the Committee at 12:47 p.m.
Testimony resumed on all Article II agencies, with witnesses on the attached list.
Senator Ogden assumed the chair.

Senator Hinojosa moved that SB 1 be left pending; without objection, it was so ordered.
There being no further business, at 6:54 p.m. Senator Hinojosa moved that the Committee stand recessed until 8:30 a.m., February 13, 2009. Without objection, it was so ordered.
