Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on International Relations & Trade was held on Monday, November 22, 2010, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.016, at Austin, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 1:13 p.m.  The following business was transacted: 

 

The committee heard invited testimony on pending items from previous hearings and on issues related to trade and commerce interim charges.

 

Witnesses registering and testifying on pending items and interim charges are shown on the attached list.

 

The chair moved that the invited testimony be closed; without objection, it was so ordered.  

 

The chair opened the hearing to public testimony.

 

Witnesses submitting public testimony and testifying can be seen on the attached list.

There being no further business, at 3:52 p.m. Senator Lucio, Jr. moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair.  Without objection, it was so ordered.
