Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Transportation and Homeland Security was held on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, in the ESC Region 16, Panhandle Conference Center, Room ABCD, Amarillo, Texas.

The Chair called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m.  The following business was transacted: 

 

The Committee received invited and public testimony on interim charges 3, 7, 9 and 13.

The Chair created and appointed a Subcommittee on Environmental Review without objection. The following members were appointed:

Sen. Robert Nichols (Chair)

Sen. John Carona

Sen. Kirk Watson

Sen. Joan Huffman

Sen. Wendy Davis

 

There being no further business, at 2:05 p.m. Senator Carona moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair.  Without objection, it was so ordered.
