JOINT COMMITTEE ON OVERSIGHT OF BEXAR METROPOLITAN WATER DISTRICT

Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with HCR 57, a public hearing of the Joint Committee on Oversight of Bexar Metropolitan Water District was held on Tuesday, September 1, 2009, in the San Antonio Public Library.

Senator Carlos Uresti, Co-Chair Representative Frank Corte Jr., Co-Chair Kevin A. Wolff Don Durden		None

Sen.Uresti called the meeting to order at 9:05 a.m.  There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

 

Sen. Uresti laid out the proposed joint committee rules for the BexarMet Committee and moved their adoption.  There being no objection, the rules were adopted by unanimous consent.  (The rules were adopted by a vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays).

 

Witnesses testifying and registering on the BexarMet water district  are shown on the attached list.

 

The committee, on motion of Sen. Uresti, unanimously consented to recess for lunch at 11:45 a.m. The hearing resumed at 12:40 p.m.

 

After testimony from more witnesses on the attached list, the chair moved that public testimony be closed; and without objection, it was so ordered.      

 

There being no further business, at 3:40 p.m. Sen. Uresti moved that the Committee adjourn.  Without objection, it was so ordered.
