Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.18 and House Concurrent Resolution 57, a public hearing of the Joint Committee on Oversight of Bexar Metropolitan Water District was held on Monday, December 6, 2010, in the Bexar County Commissioners Court.

Senator Carlos Uresti, the acting chair, called the meeting to order at 9:20 a.m. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

Senator Uresti and Ms. Harris made opening comments.

Witnesses testifying and registering on the Bexar Metropolitan Water District are shown on the attached witness list.

The chair moved that the public testimony be closed at 10:42 a.m.; without objection, it was so ordered.

Following discussion of the Committee's report and recommendations to the legislature, Ms. Harris moved adoption of the report and Mr. Durden seconded the motion. The motion was approved by a vote of 4-to-0.

There being no further business, at 11:03 a.m. Senator Uresti moved that the Committee meeting be adjourned. Without objection, it was so ordered.
