The committee will meet at the McAllen Convention Center, 700 Convention
Center Boulevard, Room 101, in McAllen, Texas to hear testimony relating
to the following interim charge:
 
Evaluate the effectiveness of state operations at controlling drug-related
crimes and other violence along the Texas-Mexico border.
 
This will be a joint hearing with the Committee on Public Safety.
