| The committee will meet to hear invited testimony on: |

| Interim Charge #1: Study the recruitment and retention practices that the |

| Department of Public Safety currently employs and make recommendations on |
|
| how to make improvements. |
|
|
| Interim Charge #2: Investigate best practices to process concealed hand |
|
| gun licenses in order to alleviate backlog and make recommendations for |
|
| implementation, if appropriate. |
|
|
| Interim Charge #6: Monitor the agencies and programs under the committee's |
|
|
|
| Please limit testimony to five (5) minutes. |
