Amend Amendment No. 1 by Duncan to SB 1 (senate committee printing) as follows:

(1) In Article 44, Section 44.01 of the amendment, amending Section 481.078, Government Code (page 102, line 11), strike "Subsection (m)" and substitute "Subsections (m) and (n)".

(2) In Article 44, Section 44.01 of the amendment, amending Section 481.078, Government Code, after added Subsection (m) (page 102, between lines 17 and 18), insert the following:

(n) Notwithstanding Subsections (e) and (e-1), the governor may transfer money from the fund to the comptroller to fund the Jobs and Education for Texans (JET) Grant Program established under Chapter 134, Education Code.
