Amend SB 8 (senate committee report) as follows:
(1) Add the following appropriately numbered SECTION to the bill:
SECTION ____. Section 21.402, Education Code, is amended by adding Subsection (d-1) to read as follows:
(d-1) Subsection (d) does not apply for the 2011-2012 or 2012-2013 school year. This subsection expires August 1, 2013.
(2) In SECTION 5 of the bill, in added Section 21.4021, Education Code (page 2, between lines 47 and 48), insert the following:
(i) This section expires August 31, 2013.
(3) In SECTION 7 of the bill, in added Section 42.009, Education Code (page 3, between lines 9 and 10), insert the following:
(c) This subsection expires June 1, 2013.
(4) Strike SECTION 8 of the bill (page 3, lines 10 and 11).
(5) Renumber subsequent SECTIONS of the bill accordingly.
