A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the use of forfeited property proceeds by the district |
|
|
attorney for the 198th Judicial District. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. (a) If S.B. No. 316, Acts of the 82nd |
|
|
Legislature, Regular Session, 2011, becomes law, Section |
|
|
24.377(c), Government Code, as effective September 1, 2011, is |
|
|
repealed. |
|
|
(b) If S.B. No. 316, Acts of the 82nd Legislature, Regular |
|
|
Session, 2011, does not become law, this Act has no effect. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|
|
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|
|
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|
|
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|
|
Act takes effect on the 91st day after the last day of the |
|
|
legislative session. |
