R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |
|
|
by a great and enduring love, Roy and Eloisa Donoso of Temple |
|
|
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 13, 2011; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Donoso were united in matrimony at Our |
|
|
Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in 1961; through the years, they |
|
|
have nurtured a fulfilling marriage that has been made even richer |
|
|
with the addition of 6 daughters, Angie, Diana, Tina, Cecilia, |
|
|
Nancy, and Amy, as well as 16 grandchildren and 5 |
|
|
great-grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Residents of Temple for more than six decades, Mr. |
|
|
Donoso is employed with Selective Plastic Signs and Mrs. Donoso is |
|
|
retired from the Temple Independent School District; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past |
|
|
half-century, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant |
|
|
in their commitment to one another, and the strength of their love |
|
|
has enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with |
|
|
grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby honor Roy and Eloisa Donoso |
|
|
on their 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
|
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
