R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced |
|
|
by a great and enduring love, Clarence and Ann Crow of Georgetown |
|
|
celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 2, 2011; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Crow were united in matrimony in |
|
|
Wichita Falls on that special day in 1951; through the years, they |
|
|
have nurtured a fulfilling marriage that has been made even richer |
|
|
with the addition of a daughter and two sons, as well as five |
|
|
grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. and |
|
|
Mrs. Crow are former residents of Dallas and settled in Georgetown |
|
|
in 1993 after retiring; they reside in a house on the 11th fairway |
|
|
of the golf course at Berry Creek Country Club and are members of |
|
|
First Baptist Church of Georgetown; they plan to commemorate this |
|
|
milestone year in their marriage with a trip to Bend, Oregon; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past six |
|
|
decades, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant in |
|
|
their commitment to one another, and the strength of their love has |
|
|
enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with grace |
|
|
and optimism; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Clarence and |
|
|
Ann Crow on their 60th wedding anniversary and extend to them |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Crow as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
