H.R. No. 68
 
 
 
R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, During the 82nd Legislative Session, Clayton Tucker
  has ably served his fellow Texans as an intern in the office of
  State Representative Helen Giddings; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Tucker contributed to
  the workings of state government firsthand; in addition to learning
  more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens
  of the Lone Star State, he has gained valuable work experience in
  the field of public service; and
         WHEREAS, A native of Austin, Mr. Tucker learned the virtues
  of hard work at an early age, helping out on his grandparents' ranch
  in Lampasas; he has played the tuba since sixth grade and
  distinguished himself in high school as a band section leader and as
  band president his senior year; among his other accomplishments are
  attaining the rank of Eagle Scout at age 15; he is now studying
  political science and Chinese at Southwestern University and
  aspires to a career in public service; and
         WHEREAS, This noteworthy young Texan performed his duties as
  a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is indeed
  deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Clayton Tucker for
  his service as a legislative intern in the office of State
  Representative Helen Giddings and extend to him sincere best wishes
  for continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Tucker as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
